1994 - 2020
Lilly was a two-year-old when I got her in 1996. Thanks to her kindness and willingness to fill in my gaps, we accomplished much more than I ever could have dreamed possible. She earned her NFHR Versatility Award, my first time doing draft work; she was several times USDF Norwegian Fjord Horse All Breed Award winner at Training and First Level in Adult Amateur; many times in year-end top 10 in the local chapter of the Virginia Dressage Association and was my mount as a Whipper-In for Colonial Fox Hounds. And of course, she was my best buddy for 24 years, and I will miss our time together more than anything.
